WWE Draft Results

Last night during Smackdown’s first live show, the two commissioners, Stephanie and Shane McMahon, along with their GMs, Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley, picked their Superstars for their shows. Along with the WWE selections, six NXT superstars were called up to the main roster. Only one superstar was notably missing from the selection, Health Slater. After the draft on the WWE network, Health Slater appeared alone in the drafting room. So what do you think will happen to Health Slater? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

So there you have it, the 2016 WWE draft. I have somewhat mixed feelings about the draft. I’m sad that Bayley wasn’t moved up from NXT, but I am SUPER excited about the NXT superstars that did move up to the main roster. I can’t wait to see their careers grow on the main roster (WWE creative, don’t fuck it up). This is definitely a proud mama bear moment; “My babies are growing up”.

However, I also feel like the draft was a bit unbalanced. Yes, RAW is WWE’s staple show, but they got a lot of heavy hitters. Also RAW will now exclusively get the return of the Cruiserweight Division.

That doesn’t mean people should forget about Smackdown. They still have heavy hitters like Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, Natalya, Beck Lynch, and not to mention some amazing NXT superstars. It will be interesting to see if they keep their promise in making Smackdown a totally different show. We will just have to tune in on Tuesday nights at 8PM EST on the USA channel.

What did you think of the draft? Any changes you would have made to the roster?
